What is Hanami?

Hanami is a Japanese word referring to the tradition of enjoying the cherry blossom season by picnicking together with their friends, family, or co-workers under a tree in full bloom!

 

It is a tradition that honors and appreciates the transience of beauty, that finds the beauty in imperfections, and taking the time to enjoy life’s pleasures. 

 

We found it to be a beautiful and particularly poignant description for what we do here!
